Team OPA Shines at the Great Lakes Open! We are incredibly proud of all of our players who competed and represented the Otsego Pickleball Association. Everyone played hard, had fun, and showed great sportsmanship—and a few of our teams even brought home some hardware!

A little wildfire smoke could not stop OPA from having a great time at Mulligans! Our latest social event at Mulligans was a success, with 23 members, spouses, and friends in attendance. Despite smoky conditions caused by the wildfires, everyone enjoyed an afternoon of pickleball, games, dinner, and time together. Our Advanced Ladies League is coming to a close this Wednesday, while the Recreational League will continue for two more weeks due to weather delays. The leagues have been a great addition to OPA’s summer schedule, with 16 players in each group playing Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at the Sportsplex. The format keeps things fun and friendly: low-pressure with no points kept. Winners move up a court, others move down, and players are redrawn each week. Thank you to Cathy Gall

OPA’s new court dividers are now in use at Aspen Park and are already being enjoyed during advanced morning play. They are a helpful addition to the courts and make play even better for our members. Our Season Kickoff Social Event at Mulligan’s was a great success! We had 26 members and guests join us for dinner, 19 players on the courts, and an evening filled with great food, great company, and lots of fun. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a positive start to the season. We received wonderful feedback, and more Otsego Pickleball Association events are already in the works.
